Cashmere bunny remake

I made this little guy from a cashmere sweater that had belonged to my husband. He is incredibly soft and snuggly (both the bunny and my husband 🙂 ).   I figure I can get a bunch of these guys from it,  they would make great easter bunnies for the girls.

This would make a great tutorial because it’s so easy, what do you think?  Would you like a tutorial on this upcycled bunny?

  1. A darling bunny! So give that husband and those girls a cousinly, snuggley hug from the Missouri Cousins… Do you have daffodils, tulips and hyacinths yet? Mine are so beautiful this year! Though it was cloudy and rainy yesterday it was a beautiful day in the Ozarks. We went on an antiquing road trip…. Bradford pear, wild plum, tulip magnolia and red-bud tree are all blooming as well as forsythia and several wildflowers. A few birdsfoot violets are blooming in the backyard, some vinca and henbit is everywhere. Some farm fields we solid purple with henbit…gorgeous!!! (Henbit is stinky when mowed over and causes allergies but it is certainly pretty!)

  2. I want one. Soooo soft.

Also, I want to be the kind of mom who figures out how to get her kiddo a cashmere stuffed animal. Now THAT sounds like livin’ large. (Off to eye some of Adam’s sweaters right now.)

    • lol! I’m sure you can find a stray sweater….my Adam had a few he shrunk by accident, so I lucked out….he likes to do laundry, bwah ha ha ha, more crafts for me!

  3. That is one adorable bunny and one I would like to make for the grandchildren for Easter. I would be most appreciative of a tutorial on making it. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Super cute! I’m always a fan of any project that uses upcycled sweaters, so yes, I’d love to see a tutorial. Maybe I can put some of the cashmere sweaters I’ve been hoarding saving to good use!
