A little glimpse of the P.Art project completed. The location is disclosed to participants only, but if you live in my area you might be able to figure it out for yourself.
There is a bit of peek-a-boo going on here as I had my children pick a few spots themselves. The girls have an eye for just the right hidden spot, aaaalmost out of sight but not quite.
I chose this park because of the location qualities. It is public, yet – by looking at the ground, only visited by beer drinkers and dog owners (there’s a dog park down the hill). It is a highly visible area but it feels sort of forgotten, a bit sad and run down…but oh so beautiful….they sit nicely together, don’t you think? My hope is that those beer drinkers will think it’s lovely and the birds will pick it apart for their nests. And I hope it will dwindle not too slowly into yet another thing….
